LuckyRice Asian Festival

Posted by Christine Albano

Lucky Rice is a media and marketing company that supports and promotes Asian-style cuisine and culture based here in NYC. Founder Danielle Cheng and her staff work with hundreds of chefs and restaurants here and abroad to bring all things Asian to North American consumers. Their biggest event, which they’ve been running for two years now, is the Lucky Rice festival, a week’s worth of events around the city showcasing Asian-inspired cuisine and cocktails with some of the biggest names in the biz, including David Cheng, Daniel Boloud, Jean George, and Anita Lo. A few of us were lucky enough to grab passes to the opening cocktails and experience their inventive libations and delicious food.
